Ritva Fallasta minuun ja Thaïsiin

Skirt and shirt - Ritva Falla / Marimekko (before 2009), shoes - Tarsala, handbag - Globe Hope, jewellery - Kristiina by Lumoava

It's possible to use your fantasy with this skirt.

It actually helps that someone else takes the pics :)

Festive in Finnish Fashion

Some time ago I attended a very nice gala - men in suits, women first in long dresses, afterwards the hemline went upwards.

Dress by Marja Putus - her site is also in English! I had the pleasure to meet her personally in summer 2011. She's a very loveable woman and I like her ethics in clothemaking. She took my measurements and I was able to choose my favorite colour for the dress. It's unique and only mine <3 The necklace is made from a spoon and it's bought from The Handicraft Fare in Helsinki.

Dress by Marimekko, bought during winter 2010/2011.

...and of course I wore my Tarsala shoes, The picture is the wrong way, it doesn't want to obey me XD

My home's a mess...

Tarsala shoes - the best of Finland and Italy

My biggest craziness aren't shoes, but they are in an important position in my life. In the future, when I work, I may use high heels every day - ie fashionable high heels. As you know I prefere Finnish design, so my first really hi-tech shoes are by Tarsala.

Tarsala is well known in Finland. There are few shops in Finland, the biggest one in Kluuvi. Tarsala is best known for the shoes for the flight attendants. Those shoes are comfortable, healthy and nice-looking. The prices for these shoes doesn't kill you - I believe the most expensive ones are about 300 €, mine cost a bit over 100 €.

Here are mine:

Just look at them! They are made in Italy and are completely made of leather. The details are beautiful. Hopefully I'll be able to buy more shoes by Tarsala in the future.

Well, now I'm very much in to Minna Parikka and her shoes with wings. The other ones, especially those with drops, look fantastic as well. Parikka's shoes are more pricy than Tarsala's...
